The funds raised by Run With Neil go directly to the youth in our community. We have a number of ongoing projects that provide access to mental health resources and mentorship programs through sports. As well as providing sponsorship of athletic camps aimed at promoting mental and physical health. In addition, we are working with teachers and coaches to provide them with materials and seminars focusing on mental health for youth specifically.

Mentorship Program
We have partnered with the local middle and high schools to provide an opportunity for athletes to connect and support one another. Allowing these young men and women to connect through their passion: sports. Along with clinics held, we are working with coaches to provide resources regarding mental health and giving them the opportunity to have these conversations with their athletes.
We See You
We have partnered with Scappoose High School in creating the We See You club. This club is a safe space for the young athletes in our community to share stories, support each other and remind everyone that we are not alone.
Track Jackets
We worked closely with Scappoose Middle School’s track program and donated warm up jackets to the athletes to kick off their season. Along with the jackets, we hosted a BBQ and talked about team building as well as mental health.
Wildwood Running Clinic
Athletes and coaches from the cross country team at Scappoose High School attended Wildwood Running camp. This is a camp committed to guide, empower, connect and educate female runners and coaches by talking about critical topics female athletes face.
Cross country Summer Camp
Cross country athletes at Scappoose High School were able to attend summer camp on the beach put on by coaches. This camp focused on team building, ways to improve mental health, and of course, running!
Scappoose Middle School district track meet
Sponsorship of Scappoose Middle School district track meet that was held at Scappoose High School in May 2022. This was a great opportunity to speak directly with the athletes participating and support them as they continue their running journey.
Scappoose High School Girls Basketball Tournament
We are supporting the Scappoose High School Girls Basketball Program by helping to send the team to compete in a winter tournament in Las Vegas this December. The program has been working towards this goal for years and we are so proud of them!
Donations
Run With Neil provided funds to support the renovation project at Scappoose High School to improve the facility and replace the infield with turf.
Swim Team
Scappoose High School started a Boys & Girls swim team this past year. We had the privilege to help support them in their starting meets. We are grateful to be able to help support these athletes and get this program up and running!
Dance Team
We have had the opportunity to support the Scappoose Middle School Dance team. These young women have been working hard and have already competed in a tournament. Cannot wait to see them grow and advance in their skills!
